Strap lamp

Strap is a lamp created as a unique commission piece for American artist Kanye West. It is not a purchasable product, but an exclusive project created to furnish a private music studio with a strong and distinctive scenic presence.

The goal was to create a lamp capable of going beyond the canons of traditional lighting: a bold, surprising, and immediately recognizable object, capable of becoming the protagonist of the space.

The inspiration stems from the reinterpretation of an element from the technical and industrial world: the tube clamp, commonly used by electricians and plumbers to fasten cables and pipes. A functional component devoid of aesthetic value is thus transformed into a design element, demonstrating how an everyday object can acquire a new identity and new significance.

Entirely handcrafted in aluminum by Italian master artisans, Strap combines design research, constructive precision, and attention to detail. The lamp is fully dimmable and allows you to customize the light temperature based on the desired atmosphere, offering a bespoke lighting experience.
